The Syro-Russian Orthodox Department of Education oversees all academic programs approved by the Synod of Bishops in every Sunday School, Christian Education Center, and other lower education schools throughout the Church. It also has charge over the Consortium of Higher Education Instutions that includes Colleges, Universities, Seminaries, and Specialized Vocational Institutions. In addition, this department serves as the Central Archives for all diplomas awarded from any school chartered and/or accredited by the Department of Education.
